LG CU500 approved, 3G handset for Cingular

The FCC has posted approval documents (ID BEJCU500 for the LG CU500, a 3G handset that is heading to Cingular later this year. Unfortunately the filing doesn't note if the CU500 uses UMTS or HSDPA (Cingular is bringing out phones with both technologies). However, some other interesting specs were confirmed:

• Quad-band GSM plus WCDMA 850/1900
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• Bluetooth
• microSD card slot
