Palm revealed over the weekend that its Treo 700w smartphone does not properly deal with Daylight Saving Time. Clocks advanced an hour this morning and while the Treo 700w automatically picked up on the change, appointments in the calendar may be an hour behind.
After Daylight Saving Time begins (2:00 a.m., first Sunday in April), you may notice that some appointments in your smartphone's Calendar appear one hour early. For example, if you had scheduled a dental appointment for 9:00 a.m. Monday, it would appear on your smartphone as 8:00 a.m. Monday; the same appointment will also appear incorrectly in Outlook on your desktop PC as 10:00 a.m. Monday
There is a workaround posted on the Palm site, it involves removing the battery to cycle the power. However this only corrects events created on your desktop computer, there is [currently] no way to automatically correct events that were created on the handset.
