Sprint Nextel today revealed its expansion plans for EV-DO (or Power Vision as their marketing team calls it). The network is expected to reach 190m people nationwide by the end of the year. Starting in Q1 2007 Sprint will begin the upgrade to EV-DO Revision A and hopes to reach 220m people with the upgraded network by Q3 2007.
