Our friends over at PhoneScoop got some quality time with the brand new Sony Ericsson W950i and were able to take video of it in action (in addition to lots of photos). The W950i is the first Walkman branded handset to use the Symbian OS, prior only Sony Ericsson's P series used it.
Because of the new platform, Sony Ericsson rewrote the music player application. It makes use of the larger screen (QVGA) and touchscreen features.
In cased you missed it from Monday, the W950i sports a massive 4GB of built-in flash memory. That's equal to Apple's iPod Nano and can hold aproximately 1,000 songs.
