Another day another MVNO, this time Kajeet. The plan is to attract part of the expanding youth market, from pre-teen to early teenagers. This is a little younger than most youth MVNOs (Amp'd, Boost, etc) target, but there will definitely be some overlap. The plans will all be pre-paid.
Even though Kajeet is still in the early stages, it nailed down a massive $27 million A-round venture capital investment. Insiders say that the suits would have had to put a valuation of over $100M to justify that large of an investment.
Kajeet is putting the VC dollars to work, there are tons of job openings posted online.
