SK-Earthlink, the yet-to-launch MVNO, has rebranded itself as Helio. The company aims to bring Korean type mobile technology to the US. All phones on Helio will have EV-DO and advanced data services. The company has secured a massive $440 million in capital despite not needing any actual network equipment thanks to being a virtual operator.
HELIO is scheduled to launch its new service in spring 2006. More information is available on the new company website, www.helio.com.
