T-Mobile USA today announced its second-quarter results. While the company is profitable, net additions slowed slightly from the same period last year. Here are the figures:
* 972,000 net new customers added in Q2 2005 - total customer base of 19.2 million. (1,092,000 in the second quarter of 2004.)
* Revenue of $3.04 billion
* Profit of $387 million
* ARPU of $54, down from $55 the year before
* Churn of 2.8%
Also interesting was that T-Mobile USA added 92,000 BlackBerry customers which make for a total of nearly 600,000.
