EA inks distro deal with Sprint, Verizon

Electronic Arts yesterday announced mobile phone game distribution deals with both Sprint and Verizon Wireless. The game offerings will differ on the carriers, but big titles like Madden NFL 06 and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR have been announced. Verizon's V CAST enabled phones appear to be getting more games (such as the aforementioned Madden title) because of their more advanced 3D and data functions.
EA games will be available in the Game Lobby by Sprint and in the Get It Now section for Verizon Wireless customers.
