T-Mobile USA sharing photos with Sprint, Cingular

T-Mobile USA announced this morning that it has reached an agreement with two other major national US carriers for the exchange of MMS messages (the technology used to share photos taken by camera phones). MMS has not seen the success of SMS mostly because it is difficult to send a message across carriers.
Other types of data, such as short videos, can also be sent through MMS.
