Cingular drops Ogo

Cingular has
officially dropped the
Ogo, a data-only device launched by AT&T Wireless. We
noted back in March that it was likely sales would be discontinued after current inventory expired.
Aimed at youth, the Ogo was an email/IM device that lacked phone functionality. Unlimited messaging cost $18 monthly without a contract.
Existing Ogo devices will still be able to work and will be officially supported by Cingular.
