Nextel launches push email

Nextel today announced Mobile Email Enhancement service, a new Java based push email solution that is compatible with Outlook, Lotus Notes and regular POP based accounts. Mobile Email Enhancement service uses Visto ConstantSynch and comes in either desktop or enterprise versions.
bq. Mobile Email Enhanced pairs ConstantSync(TM), Visto's wireless synchronization technology, with an on-the-phone application to provide real-time access to email, contact lists, and calendars.
Pricing for Mobile Email Enhanced starts at $14.99 per month.
Push email is already available from Nextel through BlackBerry. This solution is for other handsets, including the popular Motorola i605.
