The FCC yesterday posted approval documents (FCC ID A3LSGHD307)for the Samsung SGH-D307, a competitor to phones like the
Motorola A630 and
LG F9100. The Samsung D307 features a full QWERTY keyboard and a bit more:
* Bluetooth
* EDGE high-speed data
* Quad-band GSM
Like the
Motorola MPx (which met an
early death), the Samsung D307 features a dual hinge that allows the phone to be opened as a conventional flip phone, or horizontally for typing with the keyboard. Cinglar is seen as a likely carrier for this device.
