Siemens: still in talks over mobile unit

Siemens reiterated today that investors for the future spin-off of Siemens mobile have not been finalized. This comes after a German newspaper said that Motorola had agreed to buy the unit outright, but changed its mind at the last minute. bq. Citing unnamed company sources, the newspaper [Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung] reported Wednesday that Motorola and Siemens had reached a deal but then backed down before contracts were to be signed.
