SK-EarthLink finalized

SK Telecom and EarthLink have finalized their MVNO called
SK-EarthLink. In January the two companies
announced plans to create a MVNO that will carry high-end CDMA phones with advanced data services.
The new company has secured $440 million of partner investments over the next three years. A target launch date of Q3 2005 has been set, around the time Sprint rolls out EV-DO high-speed data.
A
video on the SK-EarthLink site compares the US and Korean wireless markets. Korean users are shown watching TV, movies and using other high end features while US users are stuck simply making calls.
SK-EarthLink will have to compete with fellow MVNO startup
Amp'd because Amp'd plans to ship only phones with EV-DO.
