Verizon Wireless gobbles more spectrum
Verizon Wireless has been on a spectrum acquisition tear lately and today continued the trend, Verizon Wireless will purchase 23 spectrum licenses from Leap. The $102.5 all cash purchase covers 20 markets and 8.3 million potential customers. Nine of the markets are areas where Verizon Wireless does not currently provide service.
