Nokia slashes N-Gage QD price

The phone best known for "Sidetalkin'" just got a whole lot cheaper--Nokia has
cut the price of the N-Gage QD to $99 from the original $199. While the N-Gage QD (the latest model) doesn't actually use Sidetalking anymore, that was just the original, that doesn't stop detractors from making fun.
Nokia's price cut will surely create more speculation that the platform is hurting. Further cuts will affect games, to be priced at $14.99 to $24.99 each (down from around $29.99 to $34.99).
Rumors have pointed to Nokia launching a new version of the N-Gage at E3, so this may be a move to sell out inventory. E3 is being held May 17-19th.
