CeBIT 2005 -- Samsung has been busy making cell phone users at CeBIT jealous--besides showing off a
7 megapixel camera phone, Samsung also announced the SGH-i300, a phone with a 3GB hard drive.
The i300 runs Windows Mobile OS and has a long list of features:
* 1.3 megapixel digital camera
* TransFlash card slot and 3GB hard drive
* MP3/WMA/AAC music player
* Scroll wheel (like the Apple iPod)
* Bluetooth
* QVGA (240x320) 262K color screen
* Hard drive shows up like regular disk when plugged in via USB
The Samsung i300 will likely not make it to the US, but will be able to be imported (it runs GSM 900/1800/1900MHz). The i300 isn't the first Samsung phone to sport a hard drive, the
SPH-V5400 has a 1.5GB drive inside. Rumors
point to phones being announced soon with 4GB hard drives.
