3GSM World Congress -- Panasonic today announced its MX series of mobile phones, part of Panasonic's 2005 lineup. The MX series has almost double the battery capacity of the freshly announced VS series. The new models are:

* 2.2" display with millions of colors
* 1.3 megapixel camera
Panasonic announced 9 new handsets today, including the X800, SC Series, SA Series and VS Series.
