Mobile phone users to hit 2B this year

Industry research group Deloitte & Touche is
predicting the global number of mobile phone users will top 2 billion in 2005. It's currently above
1.5 billion. Most of the new subscribers will come out of developing markets in Asia and Latin America.
Deloitte & Touche also noted that more markets would see mobile phone penetration rates over 100% as more comsumers start taking second mobile phones for data or personal use.
