Samsung SCH-S310, detects 3D movement

The Samsung SCH-S310 is a new mobile phone that has the ability to carry out commands based on its position: bq. Samsung Electronics unveiled the world's first "3D movement recognition" mobile phone. 'Accelerometer' is built in to accurately calculate and ascertain movement in three dimensional space and then carry out commands according to those calculations. There are many interesting applications of this technology, including controlling games and basic navigation features (move the phone to the right and the selection goes to the next menu item).
