Details surrounding the Samsung SGH-P777 are starting to make there way across the usual channels. While still technically unannounced (though mentioned in some marketing material), the Samsung P777 is expected by industry insiders to launch on Cingular Wireless midway through the first quarter of 2005. Pricing is still subject to speculation.
The Samsung P777 is known to have:

* MP3 player (ringtones)
* SyncML
* Slide style design
* Megapixel camera with flash and video recording
The Samsung P777 closely resembles the design of the Samsung D500. Bluetooth looks to be absent from the P777's feature list.
The FCC approved the Samsung P777 for use in the US on November 29th. Samsung wrote to the FCC that the design of the P777 is, "A basis from which future technological products will evolve" and requested short-term confidentiality for test photos and detailed information.
