The LG F9100 was approved today by the FCC. Inside the approval documents were the usual details. The LG F9100 has a focus on IM and looks to be a competitor to the slow-to-market Motorola A630.
Features of the F9100 are still a little light, but are confirmed to include:
* Slide out QWERTY keyboard (see photo)
* IM, including AIM/ICQ
* No camera or Bluetooth
Expect the LG F9100 to ship on Cingular Wireless as the units given to the FCC had Cigular branding. Target launch date and price point are both unknown.
