Movie premiere on a cell phone

An Indian movie destined for the big screen will first be seen on the small screen--the cell phone screen. bq. Arindham Chaudhary's much talked-about campus caper Rok Sako To Rok Lo will be premiered for Airtel subscribers on their cell-phones on December 9. This is the first time we have heard of a feature length film being shown first to mobile phone users. The movie will debut in theaters on December 10th. Technical note: the broadcast will be made using EDGE high-speed data, a technology available in the US from Cingular. [via GigaOm]
