ESPN Mobile MVNO planned

ESPN will team up with Sprint PCS to start a mobile virtual network operator called ESPN Mobile. Disney was widely expected to move in the MNVO space, so the announcemnet today comes at no surprise (Disney owns ESPN). As with other MVNO agreements, ESPN Mobile will handle billing, customer relations, distribution and other operational aspects of the business. The phones will be customized for ESPN Mobile and will have sports-centric content directly from ESPN. Pricing was not announced.
