MPx220 on sale at Amazon.com

Amazon.com has
started to sell the Motorola MPx220 with Cingular service. Deliveries should begin in 1-2 weeks. The phone has been
for sale at BestBuy locations nationwide for about a month, though reports over the weekend indicate BestBuy has sent back its stock for a software upgrade.
Amazon.com is charging $349.99 for the phone and there are no rebate. Amazon typically lowers prices on phones with mail-in rebates, so they are likely in the future. BestBuy is
selling the MPx220 for as little as $249.99.
Even more interesting, Amazon is selling the MPx220 for $399 without a contract. This is the lowest price we have seen for this phone without a carrier subsidy.
