Sony Ericcson profits surge 45%

Sony Ericsson's third quarter earnings are impressive:
All data is relative to Q3 2003
* 10.7 million phones shipped, a 51% increase
* Euro 1.68 billion in revenue, a 29% increase
* Profit was Euro 90 million, a 45% increase
New phones from Sony Ericsson that started shipping during the third quarter include: S700, P910 and the K500.
