France OKs cell phone jamming

The AP has an article about the French goverment approving use of cell phone jamming equipment in certain locations. However, the jammers cannot block emergency calls (how this will be accomplished was not noted): bq. The government's industry minister has approved a decision to let cinemas, concert halls and theaters install cell phone jammers — on condition that emergency calls can still get through, officials said Monday.
