Verizon Wireless launches backup service
As expected, Verizon Wireless today announced a low-cost backup service for user's phonebooks. Backup Assistant works with with select Get It Now-enabled phones, including the
LG VX6000.
bq. Once customers sign up for Backup Assistant they can also view, edit or print their mobile phone address books online by logging on to
www.verizonwireless.com/backupassistant and entering their mobile number and security PIN code. Any changes made to the online address book will automatically synchronize back to the mobile phone address book in a matter of seconds.
Backup Assistant costs $1.99 per month and is available starting today through the Get It Now store.
