Nokia 6230 launched by Cingular

Cingular Wireless has launched the Nokia 6230 (announced nearly 1-year ago), a hotly anticipated handset that the company has advertised for months. Features of the 6230 include:
- EDGE high-speed data
- Bluetooth
- 128×128 pixel 65,000 color TFT display
- VGA camera with video recording
- 40 MB memory plus expandable by MMC card
- Java MIDP 2.0
- Speakerphone
Cingular is charging $199 for the Nokia 6230 with a 2-year contract, but there is a mail-in rebate that will knock $50 off that price. Retail stores should be getting this phone in within the next week or so--some already have it.
