Opera Mobile reaches 1 million downloads

Opera today announced that Opera Mobile, its Symbian based mobile phone web browser, has had over 1 million downloads. This makes Opera Mobile the most popular 3rd-party Symbian app. Opera Mobile started to really take off because of SSR, Small Screen Rendering. The technology reformats web pages to eliminate horizontal scrolling as well as resize images for smaller screens.
