Nokia 7710 rumors fly
Sep 20 2004 - 03:36 PM ET | Nokia, Rumor
Internet message boards are
buzzing with rumors of a new Series 90 device from Nokia called the 7710. It is seen as a replacement for the
Nokia 7700, which was
discontinued before it even shipped. Features of the 7710 are mostly unknown, here is what is rumored:
* No more side talking
* SD card slot (Nokia last week
showed interest in SD)
* Possible megapixel camera
* Series 90 device
The Nokia 7710 could be announced as soon as November. Despite the chatter, it is not likely that this device will not be a competitor to the T-Mobile Sidekick--it's likely to run north of $600-700.
