Cingular / AT&T Wireless merger near FCC vote

The Cingular buyout of AT&T Wireless is nearing a vote by the FCC, Reuters reports. The $41 billion cash deal should be voted on by the 5 commissioners within the next 2 weeks. The deal is expected to be approved.
