Report: Cell sales up, may have peaked

According to a new report from researchers at Gartner, cell phone sales have seen a recent growth in sales. During the last quarter, "worldwide mobile phone sales totaled 156.4 million units, up 35 percent from unit sales posted a year ago." However, Gartner warns that increased sales could lead to excess inventory that will hurt sales in the first half of 2005.
