Cingular Wireless today announced that the company now boasts over 25 million subscribers. John Brooks III of Medfield, MA was officially named the 25 millionth customer which got him a free

Cingular Wireless stores in the Boston area are running a special 25% off sale on
accessories for the next 25 days in honor of the 25 million customer event
today.
Cingular is the second largest wireless carrier in the US. When a proposed merger with AT&T Wireless goes through, Cingular will become the largest carrier.
