According to Deutsche Telekom's second quarter 2004 earnings statement, T-Mobile USA added 1.091 million subscribers during the second quarter. This is slightly under the 1.2 million additions in Q1 2004, but is enough to bring T-Mobile above 15 million total subscibers.
Net-profit rose to $240 million from a loss of $130 million same quarter last year. This was T-Mobile USA's first profitable quarter.
