RIM aims to double subscribers
Research in Motion, makers of the popular BlackBerry product line,
said Wednesday that it hopes to double its subscriber base by the end of 2004. The company says it expects to have 2 million customers by the end of the year thanks to, "Robust demand from small businesses."
While sales have been brisk everywhere, the Asian market has seen especialyl high growth even though the market is still small--RIM is not yet selling in India or China.
