Nokia inks music deal with Loudeye
Aug 09 2004 - 04:22 PM ET | Nokia
Nokia today
announced a multi-year agreement with Loudeye to develop a wireless music platform. Motorola
announced a similar deal with Apple last month, but industry analysts
believe that data hungry carriers will not let a mobile version of Apple's iTunes happen.
The Motorola and Apple deal is non-exclusive. It is not known if the Loudeye deal is exclusive to Nokia.
