Camera phone bill proposed

A
bill before the US House of Representatives aims to make, "photographing or videotaping a naked person without his or her consent in any place where there can be "a reasonable expectation of privacy" illegal. The bill, the dubbed Video Voyeurism Prevention Act, specifically addresses camera phones.
Some politicians would rather mandate that camera phones make an audible noise when pictures are taken. The mobile industry maintains that this would needlessly annoy the vast majority of consumers that use their camera phones for legal purposes.
We
first mentioned this story back in May and still stand by our point of view that this law doesn't take into account the near impossibility of busting a camera phone voyeur.
