Verizon traffic alerts
Verizon Wireless teamed up with Autodesk Location Service to provide free SMS based traffic alerts for several days around the 4th of July. Through
VText.com, customers are able to set up a driving route and choose times for alerts to be sent. The Verizon Wireless TXT Traffic Alert Service will be free between July 2nd – July 6th, 2004. Starting on July 7th, the alerts will count as text messages with all fees applicable.
