Time Warner Cable to sell mobile phones?
Jun 23 2004 - 01:08 PM ET | MVNO, Rumor
A rumor is
making its way around that cable giant Time Warner Cable wants into the cellular market. It would enter as an MVNO, and piggy back on an established carrier's network. Offering wireless service would enable Time Warner to create multimedia packages that include high-speed internet access, wireless phone service, landline phone service (via VoIP), and cable television.
Lots of other co's
want a piece of the MVNO action.
