Future of 3D graphics on mobiles

The New York Times is
running [free registration req.] a piece today about 3D gaming on mobile phones. Included in the article are two screenshots of the upcoming Spider Man game for N-Gage. We
reported on this title back in April--it includes 3 fully 3D levels and 15 2D levels.
Nvidia, a leader in graphics processing chips for PCs, is getting into the market with chips made especially for mobile phones.
bq. What games will come first? Daniel F. Vivoli, executive vice president for marketing at Nvidia, predicted that golf, bowling and role-playing games would lead the way. "First-person shooter games will be harder," he said, "because you need both hands."
