A young man in New Zealand
decided to protest his mobile phone carrier's decision to end an unlimited SMS plan by sending over 80,000 text messages from his phone. Sending the messages (all by hand) took 16-hours a day and were all the same text, "Hi. How are you?"
If he sends the same amount of messages this month, the bill would be over $10,000.
