Cell phone possibly sparked gas station fire

May 14 - 05:21 PM ET | In The News

This AP article states that a fire errupted at a New Paltz, New York gas station after a cell phone while. Despite all the warnings, the danger of a phone at a gas pump was thought to be an urban legend (probably started by landline phone companies).

The next time you're at the pump, it might be worth it to leave the phone in the car.
