DoCoMo researching mobile phones that use senses

AFP has an article about scientists at NTT DoCoMo working on mapping your senses into your mobile phone. bq. Speaking without using vocal cords, knowing which direction a telephone call comes from, or even communicating with the five senses are some of the dreams of Japanese researchers for the mobile phones of the future. We have reported on DoCoMo's research into 4G technology before--it will offer download speeds of 100 megabits a second, over 250 times faster than DoCoMo's FOMA 3G network. Look for 4G around 2010, and if all goes well some of the new "senses features" around the same time.
