Texas Instruments announces smaller ship process

Last month chip maker Texas Instruments announced that it would announce later in the year a process to make its chips used in cell phones smaller. Well,
now is that time: TI plans to move to a new manufacturing process for chips next year. What this should mean for consumers is more power in less space.
Also, TI noted that its 3rd generation WiFi chip should be shipping by midyear. Hopefully we'll see more phones with WiFi built in because of this.
