Report: NTT DoCoMo to offer fixed rate unlimited data

Reuters is
reporting that Japan's NTT DoCoMo will introduce a flat-rate unlimited data plan aimed to compete with rival KDDI Corp.

"The rate will be set at 3,900 yen ($35.84) a month and will be available starting in June on any of DoCoMo's high-speed 3G (third-generation) phones known as FOMA, but only to subscribers of its high-end price plans, the source said."
KDDI's all you can eat package is priced at 4,200 yen per month. We will update you when more information comes our way.
