FCC to launch mobile spam crackdown

We have mentioned mobile spam
several times in the past, but it's mostly a non-American thing. However, the FCC has
announced plans to keep spam off US handsets. Since email spam is out of control (no rules will stop it now), preemptive action seems like a good plan.
One possible move would be to duplicate the national do-not-call registry, but use it for mobile spam instead of telemarketing calls.
