Smaller and smarter phones to launch at CeBit

While not full of new stuff, CeBit should still be some fun this year. It starts next week. Here's a preview, via Computer Weekly.

Vodafone is likely to launch the Sharp's GX30. Besides sporting a 262K color screen, Bluetooth and an SD slot, the GX30 has a 1.1 megapixel camera. This will lead the pack for GSM phones until the Sony Ericsson S700 ships in Q4.
Philips will show off its liquid lens technology that we reported on last week.
Siemens will show off its pen phone that, "allows users to write letters and numbers on any surface and enter the data directly into the device."
Nokia will show off its Communicator 9500 that it introduced at 3GSM.
Sony Ericsson will show off both the S700 and the K700.
