Qwest to offer nationwide cell serivce

Qwest
announced that it will start up nationwide cellular service Monday. While the service will be powered by the Sprint PCS wireless network, it's expected to increase already fierce competition in the US wireless sector.
While the service will work nationwide, Qwest will target customers in the Western US where it already provides services. Having a nationwide network will help Qwest compete against the Big Six for wireless contracts.
