Future: Unbreakable cell phone screens

ScienceDaily News has a
piece on the latest technology out of the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), ink-jet printed displays. The technique uses modified ink-jet printers to create flat panel displays. Besides cutting costs, the technology is expected to work on both rigid and flexible surfaces. One of the mentioned applications is an unbreakable cell phone screen. Motorola is an invester in the PARC.
